The LearningHub is PHSA’s course registry and learning management system. In order to support learning and development at PHSA, the LearningHub has been redesigned with a new look and added functionalities.
Updates
System Enhancements
- Easier course search function
- New users/employees can sign up for an account on their own
- External users to PHSA will also be able to gain access by self-registering for an account
- Users will be able to manage and update their own profiles
- Improved “self-help” information , accessible from home
- Courses can be offered to the public without the requirement of a user account
- E-commerce (e.g. paid courses) will be allowed
As always, LearningHub will be accessible from home (any internet connection) at http://LearningHub.phsa.ca so you can sign up for courses whenever you have time, and find online help and resources when needed.
This is an update, so employees’ learning history and records of any currently registered courses will remain intact.

The re-designed site has been reviewed by some individuals from Learning and Development or Education Services at various agencies. All have found the changes to be intuitive and easy to use. Key changes will be most noticeable for Class Coordinators, who will now be known as Course Managers. To facilitate the transition for existing Class Coordinators:
- We recommend that all existing class coordinators attend a webinar or in-class training session to learn about the specific changes and improvements to the functions of a Course Manager.
- Go to the new LearningHub Info & Help site at http://lms.phsa.ca/help/userhelp.htm for updates and to look at the online help that is provided to users. All training materials and help will be accessible whether users are at home or at work.
- User Manuals and Quick Reference Guides will be available on the Info & Help site to assist Learners, Instructors, Course Managers and Others with self-training as needed.
- The LearningHub Helpdesk is available at LearningHubAdmin@phsa.ca for more information or any questions or concerns.
